DelawareScene.com is a project of the Delaware Division of the Arts, an agency of Delaware's Department of State. We invite you to partner with DelawareScene.com to create a comprehensive statewide cultural calendar, build awareness among consumers, and reap the benefits of joint marketing and promotion—with the goal of increasing participation in the arts and cultural events in Delaware.
A special partnership opportunity is the ability to incorporate DelawareScene.com event data of your choosing into your own website. The Division of the Arts fee schedule for this service will be based on the costs to the Division for these features, along with a nominal annual fee to cover hosting costs. You can choose between two methods of exporting data to your site from DelawareScene.com: data exports and custom templates.
For the techno-geek, data exports produce custom XML or flat file feeds automatically and can be filtered by most parameters (region, time-frame, etc.). Data exports will be provided to the partner organization; the partner organization will be responsible for establishing the import on its site. Developers of partner websites can program automated processes to retrieve this data and import it for use on their sites. The cost for the set-up is usually between $300-$500 plus the annual fee.
The Custom Template alters the look of DelawareScene.com for visitors coming to
DelawareScene.com from partner sites, making events and other pages appear to be a
part of the partner's site. Custom templates require partnering sites to provide a
self-contained HTML document that will "wrap" around DelawareScene's content zone.
