Coastal Concerts presents Dover Quartet with David Shifrin, clarinet

Dover Quartet and David Shifrin, clarinet. Named one of the greatest string quartets of the last 100 years by BBC Music Magazine, the GRAMMY® nominated Dover Quartet has followed a “practically meteoric” (Strings) trajectory to become one of the most in-demand chamber ensembles in the world.

Much sought after as a chamber musician, David Shifrin has collaborated frequently with such distinguished ensembles and artists as the Tokyo String Quartet, the Emerson String Quartet, Wynton Marsalis, pianists Emanuel Ax and André Watts, and has received critical acclaim as a recitalist.

Special note:  This concert will take place at 2:00PM in Bethel UMC Hall in Lewes and will be preceded by Lani Spahr’s Performance Insights at 1:00.
