The artists of the Studios@ community come together for this small works show that elaborates on the “escape” theme of the fall season. Escape can be from or towards something - from confinement, personal demons, enslavement, religious constrictions, stress; or, towards light, air, economic viability, free thought, bodily integrity, self-determination, refuge, etc. Interpretations of this idea are myriad and the studio artists take a broad individualized approach. The freedom for each artist to interpret the theme of “escape” is at the heart of this small works show.
