Black Joy: A Juneteenth Celebration
The Summer Institute Apprentices present a Juneteenth celebration of vocal music by Black composers! Our premier workforce development program for the arts, featuring apprentices 18-25 years old, is celebrating with songs of joy, hope, faith, and resilience represented widely throughout the Black musical spectrum. This event will feature EVA’s Summer Institute, along with select members of Delaware's own Elevation ensemble. This concert will inspire and challenge the listener toward a greater appreciation for Black music through ensemble and solo songs, spoken word recitations, and more!
