Artist Roster

After earning a Bachelor of Science in Art Education, Angela immersed herself in the world of teaching students in Maryland Public Schools and Baltimore City. Her dedication to her students was so consuming that, for many years, her own creative pursuits were set aside. But after retiring early and relocating to Florida, fate—a friend gifted her a set of oil paints and canvases—offered her a fresh start. Inspired by local artists painting vibrant oil landscapes, Angela dove back in, refining her skills at the Miano Academy under Charles Miano and Susan J. Foster, and continuing her studies through workshops with TJ Cunningham, Scott Christensen and Adrian Farinella. Angela maintains her studio in her home in Ocean View, Delaware. 

Angela's paintings are vibrant tributes to the landscapes, waterways, and shorelines of the Delmarva Peninsula. She begins her process with a camera in hand, capturing evocative scenes that tell a story or convey a mood. Through value sketches, careful palette selection, and small studies of color relationships, she develops each composition, often toning her canvas and working light and dark areas to create a compelling sense of atmosphere. Whether painting luminous sunsets, dramatic cloudscapes, or still life brimming with fruit, vegetables, and flowers, Angela's work radiates with color and serenity, inviting viewers to pause and savor the quiet beauty of the world.

Angela's paintings have been juried into local exhibitions, including the Beverly Bassford Memorial Juried Show at the Art League of Ocean. As a member Angela’s artwork has been featured in twice in Studio E and the Spotlight Gallery at the Ocean City Center for the Arts. She also creates and sells her everyday earrings featuring crocheted beads on wire. 

As a member of the Rehoboth Art League, Angela’s artwork is featured yearly in the Annual Members' Fine Art Exhibit. You can also see her work in the Member’s Gift and Sales Gallery. Her landscape paintings have been selected to be part of the Rehoboth Art League’s 2025 and 2026 Regional Juried Biennial exhibits. Her painting, “Salt Pond” won second place at the 2026 Coastal Echoes exhibit by the Worcester County Arts Council. Angela’s paintings are in private collections in Delaware and Maryland.
