In the studio, work in oil and acrylic. Many works are two dimensional, but a background in theatrical design often informs a more textural and three dimensional approach, using sculptural materials and modeling pastes that bring the picture out from the canvas. An experienced theatrical scenic and lighting design, a scene painter and a puppet maker. Designed more than 250 productions of theatre, opera and dance. Taught at James Madison University, the University of South Carolina, Mount Holyoke College and others. Professional Affiliations include: United Scenic Artists Local 829, Puppeteers of America, Oxford Arts Alliance, Newark Arts Alliance, Riverview Gallery (member artist).
