Bronwen Hazlett
Bronwen Hazlett is a fine art photographer who is fluent in digital as well as analog photographic processes. Photography has been her medium since childhood which led to a BFA from Maryland Institute College of Art and an MFA from Academy of Art University. Hazlett’s career has encompassed jewelry design, commercial photography, multimedia design, and now education.
Hazlett explores concepts of home, place, memory, and self-healing. Her images are inspired by an early nomadic journey in life as the daughter of a Navy Doctor and an artist who lived and traveled through many places in the world. Surrounded by farms and Amish neighbors, rural Delaware is now her home. Hazlett thrives in analog, digital, and infusions of the two photographic arenas. With experimentation as her forte, technology and different materials are constantly being applied to techniques learned for a unique visual expression.
