The Delaware Division of the Arts provides grants that support small budget projects that include the presentation of performing, visual, literary, media, or folk arts in communities throughout the state. C. MICHAEL LUCK trained as an artist while in high school and at Gettysburg College. Mike avidly pursued painting, sculpture and photography. His artistic heroes were Degas, Picasso & Duchamp. Most of his early work was abstract. After school he married and raised his family in Newark. Through the years, Mike continued with random arts classes. Mike has displayed artwork and photos at The Biggs Museum, New Castle Public libraries, and the Confucius Institute at UD. Today he regularly exhibits his work at the Newark Arts Alliance and at the Delaware Fun-A-Day events.
