Chris Braddock is a guitarist and performer on several of its cousins, including the oud, dobro, and octave mandolin. Chris received a Bachelor of Music Degree in classical guitar performance  from The  University of Delaware, where he  studied with Christiaan Taggart.

He performs regularly as a soloist and as a member of several Delaware-based groups: The Bowman-Braddock Flute & Guitar Duo, Tidewater Brass Band, Righter Than Rain String Duo, the Brandywine Guitar Quartet, and The Scott Davidson Quartet.  These ensembles showcase a wide range of musical styles, including classical chamber works, 1930s and Latin-style jazz, bluegrass, music of the Middle East, and folksongs from Ireland, Greece and Hungary.

Chris is a recent recipient of an Individual Artist Fellowship in music composition from the Delaware Division of the Arts.  His original works include two pieces for the Delaware-area music ensemble, Mélomanie, as well as a string quartet, solo guitar music, and numerous compositions and arrangements for smaller ensembles. He also produced a flute, violin, and guitar trio for the "Playing in the Garden" CD, produced by Winterthur Museum and Gardens in 2008.

He is a member of the Wilmington String Ensemble musician roster.  Chris is the  Guitar Department Head at The Music School of Delaware and serves as coordinator of the school's Cultural Crossroads Series.
