Christopher was born in Cleveland, Ohio and has been living in sunny Southern Delaware since 2000. He works in different mediums and explores traditions that expand the movements from realism to abstract expressionism.  He has participated in local juried shows including the Rehoboth Art League Outdoor Show, the St. Peters Art Fair, Barnes and Noble Solo Show, Menolan Summerfest, and the Bethany Beach Boardwalk Arts Festival.  Christopher won best in show in the Bethany Beach Plein Air painting contest sponsored by Beach Break Art (2014). His work can be found in private and corporate collections. He was a featured artist in the Coastal Point 8/28/09, Vol 6, No. 35 and was juried into Artist Magazine and American Artist's 13th Annual Strokes of Genius Competition, The Best of Drawing Winter 2022.

Program Description: First Impressions - A Painterly Drawing Class. Learn art principles of color, value, form, perspective, and composition through a fun and innovative 'hands-on' curriculum using dry drawing media such as colored pencils, markers, oil pastels, and graphite pencil. Supplies and workbook exercises provided. The goal is to prepare you to create your own impressionistic works of art. The principals and techniques are broken down into understandable, digestible steps. No prior experience necessary!

Duration: 8 1.5-hour sessions plus a 2-hour culminating event (The Impressionist Café Exhibit and Social.) Availability: Weekday Evenings / Saturday Mornings.

Fees: Instruction including Travel and Culminating Event: 1500.00:  Materials  $60.00 per student. Assuming 10 Students x $60.00= $600.00. (Includes  oil pastels, colored pencils, art markers, graphite pencil, kneaded eraser, paper, workbook pages, picture frames for class exhibit  and misc. art supplies.)     Total Fees $2100.00
