My name is Dalia Rodriguez. I’m the owner & photographer at DalRod Photography. I’m a Delaware native and I love this beautiful small wonder and the surrounding areas.

I stumbled upon photography quite by accident. After the first click, the camera became an extension of me; one I use to capture lifetime memories.

One of those wonderful memories that I have is of an photo I took years ago of a dragonfly, up close and personal. Dragonflies have always been special to me. They symbolize joy, change and light. They are iridescent and that iridescence shows itself in different colors depending on the angle and how the light falls on it.

Capturing the finest light and color at the perfect angle that expresses the inner joy and beauty in everyone is why I do what I do. I love being there to capture those moments when my clients are feeling happy and carefree. They remind me again of the dragonfly as it also symbolizes the virtue of living in the moment and living life to the fullest.

To help achieve this feeling, I do away with the stuffiness of a studio. We’ll travel to one of many beautiful outdoor locations available. We’ll make sure to get a few posed shots, but I decided a while ago that my focus would be on lifestyle photography. I want you to relax and just be yourself. I’ll focus on those very candid moments to create some amazing photos that you’ll treasure.

My goal is that you’ll walk away from our time together with a smile, a new friend and some beautiful photos that capture the moment and bring back wonderful memories for a lifetime.
