Artist Roster

Elissa Davis is a visual artist focusing on figurative and portrait painting and works from her Delaware based studio, known as Elissa Davis Art. Elissa received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Delaware in Portraiture, Figurative painting and Anatomy. In 2024, Elissa was awarded the Opportunity Grant for portraiture from the Delaware Division of the Arts in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts.

In 2024, I began work on a long-term exhibition project-Starlights-Open Minds & Giving Hearts, which features individuals who have inspired me through their kindness, compassion and acts of service to others and is a long-term exhibition project I began working on in August of 2024.

I support equality regarding sex, race, faith, gender identity, immigration status and age. While living in America in modern times, I decided that I want to shine a light on the positive actions and philosophies from people in my community and public figures in our country who inspire me. I believe that as an artist and portrait painter the best way to honor these individuals is to paint them and an inspirational aspect of their life story dedicated to service to others. These people are everywhere, from public visionaries to our everyday heroes. The purpose for this project is to produce an exhibition featuring the paintings both locally and around the country.
