Artist and Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom background Bio

Artist started during High school years since September 17, 2004 switching to using colored pencils. In 2006, I developed a technique of projecting images from photographs to enlarge and trace them. I have found using colored pencils give my drawings thicker, bright, intense color and texture. My art process is evolving into more original ways of presenting the same subject matter. My artwork l current drawing public transit buses and other vehicles within psychedelic design bright colors than Self portraits paintings and Modeling scale art. I would describe the more recent works as “3D” and “4D” because I’m experimenting with different ways to represent space and work on multiple planes in the same image. Instead of simply representing what was in the original photograph I’m working from, I’m expanding the image from my imagination.

Adobe Photoshop / Lightroom techniques

As I started using Adobe photoshop during class at Delaware College Art and Design School at Market Street in Wilmington, DE in spring 2017 unit i got used to it and begin to share it on social media for my future to donate for fundraising. The bus wrap project cost over $8,000 and had it short of $1k was not enough before moving to plan B by started a 3D art design wrap via Adobe beginning this spring 2023. Big cities like Philadelphia (My hometown City) came visited with transit system to photograph not just a bus or subway lines, it's about an idea to create idea to make it happen in the future, many local artists throughout the country, many of them including myself what it's like to make the city be more creative and even Tho I had live the small city of Wilmington, DE had less Art Murals unit it's had growing even more by coming to Together. Other organizations including Westside grows together community mural meeting had been held at The Dickerson Education Center @ North Monroe and 8th Streets talked about with ideas to paint the bridge wall from 6 street thru 10 street (at Pennsylvania Ave) by local artist. I had started to document the video of artist painting the bridge back in September 2021. It's started As DelDOT plans a major rehabilitation of I-95 through Wilmington; residents are working to bring together the neighborhoods split apart by the highway in the 1960s.

I also took trips within public transit had documented film and images with my artwork project purpose only. These trips have helped me build and translate my art and networking with other art organizations. Also I was part of the film project of ‘La Guagua 47’ is a one-of-a-kind community cultural production that engaged over 1,000 Philadelphia artists and community members in its creation.  The film tells the story of a young Latino who arrives in Philadelphia and feels lonely. One day she discovers the magical SEPTA 47 bus and she embarks on an adventure that changes her life. La Guagua 47 touches on universal topics like migration, belonging, and finding community. It features the work of Latino artists representing many cultural traditions, all united by their love of Latinidad.

Recognizing Hispanic Heritage Month

This exhibit explores the identity of Hispanic and Latino people living and existing in a place that is home but not home. “No soy de aqui y no soy de alla. (I’m not from here, I’m not from there.)” is the expression that captures the challenge of identifying with two very different places and cultures. This exhibit honors the sacrifices, the challenges, and the things left behind while chasing the American Dream. It honors those who came before us, our family members who sought a better future for us, and those of us seeking that future today.
