Jamieson Thomas is an interdisciplinary artist who explores cultural and personal history, and the intersection between humanity and the natural environment. Her work prompts one to consider the influence of our personal history, our individual imprint on our surroundings, to question our role of dominance in the global ecosystem, and to consider solutions that will create balance and coexistence. She works in multi-media installations including sculptures created from recycled, found and natural objects, painting, photography, and video.

Thomas holds an MFA in Art Practice from the School of Visual Arts in NYC and a BS in Art and Business from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. Born in Boston, and raised in Miami, Thomas currently works out of a 23 studio artist collective in a warehouse space in downtown Orlando.

Thomas has had solo gallery exhibitions in New York City, Orlando, FL and New Smyrna Beach, FL. She has exhibited in group exhibitions in galleries and museums throughout the United States.
