Katie Jane LeCocq
Katherine J. LeCocq’s work ranges from the whimsical and playful to staid and evocative representations of the natural world. Painting and drawing since she was a child, her work is rendered in media that include acrylic, pen & ink, charcoal, and watercolor and ranges in size from artist trading cards to full murals. Her influences range from Gustav Klimt to Edward Gorey. She has exhibited her work thought the Mid-Atlantic region. She is happy to take commissions or to part with works already completed. Some of LeCocq’s mural work can be viewed in New Jersey at the Pennsauken Free Public Library, or online at lecocqdesign.com. She also created an interactive memorial work for Hank's Hope which hangs in the Nanticoke Memorial Hospital. LeCocq is originally from Seattle, and is now based in Wilmington, Delaware after graduating from Rutgers University’s distinguished Mason Gross School of Fine Arts.
