Keith I. Warren
A passion that can not be quenched. To be creative in this world can be a challenge. There are paths to choose, there is life to live. Decisions on how to help in creating for the common good. I chose the path of family. That choice brought me great joy. I have a beautiful family and they mean the world to me. My career choice was to be a teacher. The passion for creating led me to be an Art teacher. As a teacher I was able to create and inspire my students to be creative. I had the best of both worlds. After 38 years of middle school it was time for me to retire. It just seems like life is full of challenges and choices. Now I have more time to be creative and produce my art. Taking photographs and watercolor painting were my creative outlets. One thing I noticed was that I missed teaching, but I don’t want to teach children anymore. How to return to teaching and creating was my question? Along came the paint and sip industry. Paint Parties, what a great idea. The brain started working and the ideas started poppin, I worked part-time in the restaurant/bar business and these paint parties were held in bars and restaurants. So, Monty, owner of the Starboard Restaurant provided me with a space to conduct the art classes and the rest is history. I had it all again… what a hootin nannie it was going to be. Then out of the blue someone who attended a Brushin w/Keith Paint Party asked if I would or could I do private parties. “Hell yeah” I said all excited. Art group parties were awesome, some travel and great people this a wonderful extension for Brushin w/Keith. So the story continues, before family I ventured into selling my photographs at arts and craft festivals around Delaware. Well don’t you know it, Dewey Beach has an Art Fest and that has me going back to selling like I did before family.
Now I am ready to grow my teaching and creative businesses more. Reach out if you wanna know more.
