Kiara Florez
Work with Kiara
Kiara Florez is an illustrator who works primarily in acrylics and inks to create her artworks. She explores spiritual thinking and imaginative worlds, using bold colors and wavy lines to express those concepts. Since taking drawing seriously at 16 years old, her works have always aimed to create stories, play with vibrant colors, and develop a unique style. After doing realism in high school, Kiara has taken her works into a more abstract design, adding a deeper personal meaning to it. Since then, she has won several awards and grants, such as receiving the 2017 Scholastic Art and Writing Congressional Art Award and the 2022 Delaware Division of the Arts Individual Artist Fellowship Grant.
