Artist Roster

Lauren is a freelance visual  artist  from Wilmington, Delaware. She received her BFA at University of Delaware and specializes in chalk pastel pet portraits, abstract geometric  acrylic  paintings, murals, and graphic  design.  

Inspired by music, color, and the ever-changing world around her, Lauren embraces what she describes as "the tornado whirling around in her head."  The chaos of the mind can be seen in the intricacy  and vibrancy of her abstract work.   Often when creating, she listens to music.   The lines and markings of her  art  often match the rhythm  of the beat - creating unique patterns and stimulating imagery.   Lauren also taps into a more organized side of her artistry when she commissions animal portraits and murals; as well as her graphic design projects.   For Lauren, her  art  is intentionally consistent and inconsistent, simple  and complicated.   Her hope is that the duality of her abstract work sparks dialogue and the warmth  and personalization  of her realistic work brings joy to those that experience it.
