Hello! My name is Madeline and I am the owner and sole proprietor of JSK Jewelry. 100% of what goes into operating JSK Jewelry LLC, from fabrication to shipping orders, is a one woman show. I started this journey in August 2018 with a silversmithing course at my local community college, working alongside a professional silversmith, and then continued self practice.

The story of JSK began on February 14th, 2018 when Justin Skylar Krivel, my beloved little brother, passed away suddenly at the age of 19. He was my first and only best friend growing up. No matter what happened, through dark times and laughter, we were together and we relied on each other. Justin is now an angel and I am blessed to have called him brother.

Losing Justin has been the greatest tragedy of my life. Despite this unspeakable loss, I discovered not only a way to process grief but I found my passion: Silversmithing--a fiery craft that continues to heal my soul. It breathes new oxygen into my lungs when I feel suffocated by his loss, while solder fills the cracks of my broken heart. I hand stamp JSK onto every piece as my maker's mark, adding a little bit of Justin into the world. Every single piece I handcraft fills a small space in his absence. This, JSK Jewelry, is for the both of us.

Persistence, resiliency, and following my passion has paid off. Thank you for supporting JSK Jewelry and shopping handmade. It's incredibly personal and means absolutely everything to me. I’m so thankful that Justin lives on and is being remembered in this beautiful art form.

Blessings and gratitude, always. -Madeline
