Artist Roster

I am an active painter who is focused on exhibiting in solo and group shows. I received a BFA and a MFA from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA.  I am currently represented by Gallery 50 in Rehoboth Beach, DE,  9S_Studio Gallery in Easton, MD where I just had a solo show from February 7th to April 27th 2025. I am also represented by the Elusie Gallery in Easthampton, MA.

I have always been a painter. I also happen to own an award winning Gallery in Milford, DE called Gallery 37- A Destination for Artful Living for twelve years. I represent 45 artists and artisans including my own work. Over the twelve years in DE I have served nine years as an art judge for the DE Scholastic Art Awards for the state. Currently I was asked to be a judge for Congresswoman Sarah McBride's Congressional Art Competition held in Wilmington, DE. I have also had the pleasure and honor of judging local gallery exhibits, art leagues, and art festivals in the region and beyond in other states. I spent thirty five full time years teaching painting and design in a private boarding school in MA.

My Visual narrative is that I Love to paint natures forms. This includes landscapes and plant life. The painterly brushwork is so important to me as I'm after the energy and visual vibration between land, water, plants and sky. It is that borderline between the conventional separation dialogue where organic shapes, gestural fluid lines, patterns, color and movement,ent react to each other and create an emotional response. I create mixed media collages as well as paintings. They are the underpinning to my works on canvas and birch board panels in acrylics and oils.
