Marcie I Tauber
Marcie Tauber creates fused glass pieces, both functional and decorative. Starting with flat sheets of glass, Marcie combines colors and shapes, which are then fired multiple times in a kiln at approximately 1500 degress. The result may be a bowl, a plate, or a decorative panel.
Marcie has been fusing for about 10 years. Her inspiration derives from many places; because of her mathematic background, much of her inspiration comes from geometry, other pieces are inspired by nature. She has been trained by glass artists, such as Patty Gray and Karl Harron.
