Robert Straight does abstract paintings that use imagery that suggests number systerms and science. He has recently been using technology to produce his drawings as laser cut images that are collaged into his paintings. His recent installation at the Philadelphia International Airport was a constallation of 13 clusters of sliced wood. These wood slices were individually painted then installed upon a painted background.
