Ron Meick currently works and resides in Arden, Delaware. He attended Rhode Island School of Design and received his BFA in Sculpture. After working twenty years in the Securities business, he now works full time on his artwork. He has most recently concentrated on printmaking and sculpture.

His work contains elements of the visual environment such as world events, scientific, archeological, political, economic, and social issues. These help form the imagery that result in an abstract metaphoric structure. This pluralistic approach enables the exploration of many subjects with his practice. Recent work has been involved with making sculptures out of wooden constructions and using encaustic wax to paint them. In 2023 he received the artist fellowship from Delaware Division of the Arts for sculpture in the established artist category.

Meick's work is available through individual inquiry, commissions, and the Washington Printmakers Gallery in Washington, DC. He is available to give printmaking demonstrations and/or lectures.
