Known for her emotive and captivating stage presence, Setoria has established herself in the Washington, DC area with dynamic performances of popular R&B, Soul, Neo-Soul, and Contemporary Jazz covers. Currently immersed in the creation of her debut EP, she draws comparisons to celebrated artists like Jill Scott and Maysa. Her musical roots trace back to influences such as Lauryn Hill, Chaka Khan, Anita Baker, and Chuck Brown.

Setoria's musical journey began with the release of her debut single, Shorty, in May 2014, garnering international acclaim right from the start. She received accolades at the 2016 Josie Music Awards (JMA’s), including a nomination for Best R&B/Soul Song of the Year for her single Spell On Me and her first win as R&B/Soul Artist of the Year. Returning to Nashville the following year, Setoria reclaimed the title of R&B/Soul Artist of the Year at the 2017 JMA’s. Her single Say My Name continued her success, winning R&B/Soul Song of the Year at the 2018 JMA’s, with its music video earning further recognition at the 2019 Philadelphia Independent Film Awards and the 2019 Philadelphia Film Festival.

In her latest work, the single Back 2 Me, Setoria infuses her music with a sultry inspiration that earned her the R&B/Soul Single of the Year Award at the 2022 JMA’s, a victory she dedicated to raising awareness about mental illness.

Beyond her music, Setoria is a passionate advocate for curvy women, serving as the Music Brand Ambassador for the Smooches Woman Movement. She co-wrote one of their anthems, Look at Us, and launched the #HUSTLE t-shirt collection, designed to motivate and inspire her audience. Merchandise is available on her on-line store, KeyElite Boutique. Setoria also co-hosted an internet radio platform she founded with two female colleagues to uplift independent artists in music, film, and fashion. Although the show concluded in spring 2017, Setoria remains committed to supporting independent artists, small business owners, and community leaders who are making a positive impact. Now living in Southern Delaware, Setoria continues to perform music and support the community around her.
