Sophonie Milord
Sophonie is a Haitian-American writer, creative, and communications specialist based in Delaware, with a deep-rooted passion for storytelling, performance, and collaborative art. A lifelong creative, her work spans writing, acting, communications, and community-centered projects. She is available for local creative roles, storytelling initiatives, writing support, and collaborative artistic work across disciplines.
Over the years, Sophonie has launched and led multiple creative ventures centered on self-expression, inspiration, and community connection, including writing services, digital media, and creative merchandise. While those projects are currently on pause, they continue to inform her approach to creativity as a tool for visibility, healing, and empowerment.
In 2026, Sophonie founded Living Mingle, a new and emerging local social event organization inspired by a shared love of nostalgic pop culture from the 90s and early 2000s. With its first event approaching, Living Mingle is a passion project rooted in creating inclusive social and nightlife experiences that celebrate underrepresented communities and nurture genuine connections in Delaware. At the heart of Sophonie’s work is a belief that art, culture, and storytelling can bring people together—and make space for people to see themselves reflected and celebrated on a wider scale.
