Sophonie W. Milord is a Haitian-American creative entrepreneur, writer, and communications specialist passionate about storytelling, inspiration, and the arts. A proud New Jersey native, Sophonie has always believed in the power of words and self-expression. As Toni Morrison once said, “If there's a book that you want to read, but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it”—a quote that deeply resonates with Sophonie. While she first dreamed of writing a book in 2003, she finally actualized that dream in 2023 with the self-publication of 21 Days of Splendor: To Inspire Your Spirit. This book embodies her love for creativity and encourages others to pursue their dreams with mindfulness.

From a young age, Sophonie could be found journaling, writing poetry and music, or creating worlds in her mind and later putting them to paper with her favorite pen. Growing up as the youngest of seven children to hardworking Haitian migrants, she was raised with two core values—education and creativity. These foundational principles continue to shape her journey as the Founder of Just So Splendid Creations, LLC., a brand dedicated to inspiring creative self-expression and empowerment through writing, mental health awareness, creative design, marketing services, and inspirational products. Alongside her entrepreneurial endeavors, Sophonie works as a Communications Specialist at the University of Delaware, where she crafts compelling messaging and develops strategies to engage diverse audiences.

Her creative journey has taken her across multiple cities and artistic disciplines. From acting and vocal training to modeling and professional youth organizations, Sophonie has never been afraid to explore new forms of expression. After initially studying psychology in college, she rediscovered her creative roots, leading her to launch her first blog, She.Is.Splendid (S.I.S.), in 2017. This platform was just the beginning, focused on daily affirmations, quotes, and historical features on trailblazing women. In 2018, she expanded her impact by founding Splendid Writing Services, offering affordable writing, resume development, and editing services to empower individuals and small businesses.

Her entrepreneurial spirit continued to evolve, leading to the creation of JUSO Media Merch, LLC. in 2020, an inspirational apparel and accessories line featuring the popular I Create to Live collection. Though relocating to Delaware led to its closure, this move opened new doors. Initially hesitant about finding creative opportunities, Sophonie was surprised by what awaited her in the Diamond State. Since moving, she has been part of two movie productions—one as a background character and another with a speaking role. This newfound creative expansion in DE ultimately inspired the launch of Just So Splendid Creations, LLC., which provides career coaching, digital media solutions, small business marketing, and writing services. Her expertise also extends to public speaking, event hosting, digital design, and website development—helping fellow creatives and business owners bring their visions to life.
