Sungmin Bobyak graduated from Dickinson College with a double major in Fine Arts and Sociology. Shortly after graduating college, she completed her Masters degree in Early Childhood Special Education and taught for several years. After becoming a stay-at-home mom, she returned to the art world. She began painting, exhibiting, and accepting commissions. She was a member of the Newark Art Alliance and DFVA with exhibiting status. She works mostly in oils and although her subject matters are varied, her favorite things to paint are dogs portraits and other adorable critters.
