Tanerra Willis is a passionate author, entrepreneur, and advocate for diversity in children's literature. As the founder of The Amazing Author Catalog and The Amazing Book Fairs, she is dedicated to showcasing self-published authors and books that highlight diverse voices, empowering young readers to see themselves in the stories they read.

Her journey as an author began with a deeply personal mission—helping her son self-publish his book The Amazing Wethead's First Adventure, to encourage him and other young dreamers to be courageous, embrace their identities, and overcome obstacles like stereotypes and limitations. In uplifting his voice, she rediscovered her own, leading her to write stories that inspire young girls and adults  to rise above poverty, societal pressures, and past trauma to become leaders.

Tanerra is the author of Amazing Me (partially funded by DE Arts grant), part of The Dream Builder Series, a collection of career-focused books that affirms youth of all races, abilities, and backgrounds. The series encourages children to dream big while celebrating the diverse world around them. She is also a contributing writer toLove Letters to My Girls, a powerful book that uplifts and empowers young women.

Beyond children’s literature, Tanerra has boldly shared her own journey of overcoming infertility in Memoirs of Almost Barren Women. Through this work, she sheds light on the silent grief, social stigmas, and financial burdens many families face. Her mission is to educate, encourage, and empower those affected by infertility, helping them reclaim their joy and find strength in their journey.

A resident of Delaware, Tanerra has been married for 19 years and is the mother of one son. She finds joy in uplifting others, celebrating achievements, and creating opportunities for authors and readers alike to connect through storytelling.
