This Jamaican American artist focuses much of her spoken word performance work in addressing social challenges in the community, as well as bringing the community together and creating inclusive spaces so that voices cross culturally can share their narratives. As a poet and fiction literary artist, she creates an engaging space that allows audience members to participate in the "power of PLAY." She often says, "We have forgotten how to reach back and tap into the child-spirit!" She has been performing for two decades around the nation and abroad.
