Description
The Jazz Touring Network (JTN) is a group of presenting organizations committed to expanding opportunities to present jazz throughout the mid Atlantic region. JTN members exchange resources and strategies for presenting jazz while working together to identify artists for block booked tours. Mid Atlantic Arts provides members with administrative support, travel grants to attend an annual network meeting, and performance grants for JTN developed tours.
Mid Atlantic Arts seeks applications from presenters in the mid Atlantic region with little or no experience presenting jazz, as well as experienced jazz presenters looking for ways to strengthen their programming. New members are selected through a competitive application review process. Priority will be given to organizations located outside large metropolitan areas that serve communities underserved by the arts. Once selected, membership is ongoing, contingent upon meeting annual participation requirements.
