Partnership for the Delaware Estuary is seeking one amazing artist or a small team of artists to work with us from October 2025 to September 2026 on an engaging and interactive project related to the Delaware Estuary.

Project Summary:
The Partnership for the Delaware Estuary Artist in Residency program is seeking to contract with an artist or small team of artists to create 5 two-dimensional or digital artworks. One will focus on the broader estuary, and the other 4 will focus on each of the Urban Waters Delaware River Location cities (Camden, Chester, Philadelphia, Wilmington). The artistic technique and style will be decided by the artist(s), in collaboration with PDE staff on the specific priorities/elements that need to be represented in the final pieces. The artist will also be required to engage with community members in each of the UWFP cities so that the final designs reflect the priorities and experience of those communities.
