WEEKEND OFFICE & EVENT MONITOR
CCArts is seeking to add enthusiastic members to our dedicated team. An ideal candidate for the Weekend Office & Event Monitor position will be looking to gain experience in arts education and administration, they are actively engaged in the arts, and they are a curious self-starter who can work independently but also love being part of a small, but mighty, team. - You have completed high school or equivalent and are looking for part-time weekend and evening employment.
- You are an excellent and effective communicator who feels comfortable using all forms necessary to build community and disseminate information.
- You have the ability to utilize professional competence, maintain organizational boundaries and guidelines, and have the capacity to demonstrate sound judgment when issues arise.
- You are passionate about the arts and providing an excellent customer experience.
- You are organized, friendly, and detail oriented.
- You are able to move and lift 25 lbs and stand for up to an hour at a time.
- You are proficient in Microsoft office and Google suite and are willing to learn class registration software like ACTIVE.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Opening and closing the facility including arming and disarming the alarm system
- Setting up space for rentals including following the event set-up plan to ensure that the space is physically set up to match the customer’s predetermined needs.
- Proactively monitoring of common areas and restocking of basic supplies like trash bags and paper products.
- Clean spaces and remove trash after each special event to ensure that all spaces are left clean and safe for use.
- Maintain all of CCArts conduct and health and safety guidelines.
- Answer questions of prospective students about CCArts and our programming and register students for classes as needed.
- Complete light administrative work to support full-time staff.
The role is part-time, non-exempt, 100% on site positions. Employment is contingent on passing a background check.
