Escape to the Southernmost Point and make new work in a place that has drawn artists, writers, and rule-breakers for generations. The Studios of Key West invites applications to its monthlong PEAR residency for visual, literary, media, music, performance, and interdisciplinary artists. Nearly 40 artists annually receive housing, private studio space, and time to create, with opportunities to engage the local island community. Set at the "end of the road", the PEAR Program supports artists on an island long known for its creative spirit, rich cultural history, and ethos of One Human Family. Application Fee.
