Description

This position works with the Education Programs Director in facilitating the RAL Visual Art’s Outreach program, which provides afterschool and summer arts programs to underserved populations in Sussex County through partnerships with organizations including First State Community Action Agency (FSCAA), Boys & Girls Club, YMCA, Easter Seals, Salvation Army, Sussex Consortium, and more. Arts education is taught through weekly or monthly classes with projects involving painting, ceramics, sculpture, and mixed media, as well as through discussion of artists, art history movements, and positive group critique.
