VISUAL ARTS TEACHING ARTISTS
Reports To: Program Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt/Part-time
Compensation: $32-36/hour
Employment Dates: Semester-based, TBD
CCArts is seeking to add a fine arts teaching artist to our team. A successful teaching artist will be a collaborative self-starter with great communication and classroom management skills and who has a passion for sharing their knowledge of the arts with students of various ages and skill levels.
**We are particularly interested in hearing from artists/educators with experience teaching portfolio development, school residencies, senior residencies, family art classes, and those with a background in painting, drawing and mixed media.
CCArts operates in 10-week semesters: Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer. Teaching Artists are scheduled on an as needed basis, when classes are available. Base pay rate is $32 per hour with a $4/hr pay increase if class or workshop fills to capacity.
