A search for our next Artistic Director is underway!
Delaware ChoralArts Association seeks a dynamic part-time Artistic Director to continue and build upon a long tradition of providing high quality choral music to the greater Wilmington area. Founded in 1984, DCA is a professional-caliber community chorus known for its expressive singing, diverse programming and beautiful choral sound. The group is made up primarily of skilled volunteer singers who work collaboratively with a small group of paid professional Staff Singers. Our Mission is to serve the greater Wilmington area by presenting a wide range of choral literature, including classical masterworks, spirituals, and music by contemporary and historically under-represented composers. We cultivate talented singers through professional development and preparation, and nurture the art of choral music in the community through collaborations when possible.
