- FLSA Status: Part-time, non-exempt
- Compensation: $30/hour
- Employment Dates: Sunday, May 3, 2026 from 4:00PM-8:00PM
MISSION
The mission of the Center for the Creative Arts is to transform, inspire, and enrich the lives of people of all ages and abilities through the arts.
BACKGROUND ON CCARTS
The Center for the Creative Arts is a member-driven non-profit community arts organization located in beautiful New Castle County, Yorklyn, DE, and is housed in a former school. For over 45 years, CCArts has engaged the community and offered visual and performing arts programs including classes, camps, and private instruction to children and adults of all ages. We offer classes and camps in painting, jewelry making, ceramics, glass making, theatre, music, dance and much more. Our space also hosts rentals for outside arts organizations, events and parties. We are a vital part of the Yorklyn community and frequently host and participate in festivals and events. Our programming extends into the community where we partner with several educational and community organizations to ensure that everyone has access to the arts.
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND FOR SUCCESS
- Comfortable posing nude in a closed studio with 10+ students and an instructor present.
- Cooperative and adaptable with faculty instructions in the classroom environment.
- Ability to respond in a timely manner to communications for scheduling purposes.
- All bodies are encouraged to apply.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Hold artistic, engaging and creative poses for long spans of time (20-40minute), as well as for gesture drawings (1-5 minutes)
This role is part-time seasonal, non-exempt, 100% on site.
