Description

Kolaj Institute’s Collage Publishing Workshop is a four-week virtual/online program designed to help artists turn a body of work or project into a zine, art catalog, monograph, or book. Through online meetings, presentations, page-spread reviews, and discussion, participants explore different models of publishing, types of book projects, copyright and appropriation, printing, launching, and marketing. The workshop considers the book as a place to experience collage and asks how publishing can expand an artist’s practice beyond the gallery wall. Participants will finish with a publishing project or a detailed plan for one.
