Description

Southern Delaware Chorale will present three concerts during the 2024-25 season and seeks members of all ages who enjoy singing. One does not have to be an accomplished singer to join the Chorale, in fact, many members find Southern Delaware Chorale to be a fun and rewarding way to renew their interest in singing.

Now in it's 39th season, the Chorale is a non-audition, nonprofit community choir. Under the directorship of Sarah Rose of Lewes, DE and Joseph Shortall of Baltimore, MD, singers will be totally immersed in learning quality choral music in a welcoming and fun atmosphere. No need to purchase gowns or tuxedos as the attire is concert black.

Concerts are held in December, February and May. Members select which concerts in which they will participate. They last day to join for the February 2025 concert is January 21, 2025. The deadline for the May concert is March 11, 2025 . Registration is open online. Members may also join at the first rehearsal. Rehearsal dates are announced on the Chorale's website and social media accounts.

The Chorale will celebrate it's 40th Anniversary throughout the 2025-26 season. Those wishing to join for the 2025-26 season may register online starting in June 2025.

Rehearsals are held every Tuesday evening from 6:50 PM – 9:00PM at Georgetown Presbyterian Church in Georgetown. Unless otherwise noted, concerts are held at Epworth United Methodist Church in Rehoboth Beach, DE.
