Brandywine River ShadFest
An annual celebration of the Brandywine River and the return of the American Shad presented by the Brandywine River Restoration Trust. Fun, vendors, environmental education, FREE activities, & more!
This family-friendly event, hosted by the Brandywine River Restoration Trust (BRRT), will feature educational exhibits by over 20 of Delaware’s leading environmental organizations, music, sustainable arts & craft vendors, food & beverage vendors, and festivities. Activities will include a shad lifecycle obstacle course, fish print t-shirt painting, a fish seining demonstration, free fishing lessons for children, face painting, and much more!
