Elevate Vocal Arts presents Afro Beats
ADMISSION: FREE
Elevate Vocal Arts (EVA) is excited to present "Afro Beats," a Juneteenth celebration of vocal music by Black composers! June is African American Music Appreciation Month, and this event will feature select members of Delaware's own Elevation ensemble — in conjunction with EVA's Summer Institute — who will offer a variety of songs of joy, hope, faith, and resilience represented widely throughout the Black musical spectrum. This 90-minute concert will inspire and challenge the listener toward a greater appreciation for Black music through ensemble and solo songs, spoken word recitations, and more!
Presented by Freeman Arts Pavilion.
