Coastal Concerts presents American String Quartet with Mariko Anraku, Harp
American String Quartet and Mariko Anraku, harp. Recognized as one of the world's finest quartets, ASQ has spent decades honing the luxurious sound for which it is famous. The Quartet celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2019, and, in its years of touring, has performed in all fifty states and in the most important concert halls worldwide. Mariko Anraku is hailed as a manifestation of grace and elegance, and has won attention as one of the world’s outstanding harpists. Ms. Anraku has held the position of Associate Principal Harpist of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra since 1995.
Note: This concert will take place at 2:00PM in Bethel UMC Hall in Lewes and will be preceded by Lani Spahr’s Performance Insights at 1:00.
