Get ready for the fast and furious accordion-driven dance music of 2023 Grammy nominees Nathan and the Zydeco Cha Chas. With its trademark rubboard percussion, electric guitars, and R&B soul, zydeco flows in the veins of these South Louisiana musicians with deep roots in Creole tradition. Led by Nathan Williams as songwriter, founder, vocals, and accordionist, the Cha Chas include his brother Dennis Paul on guitar, cousin Alan Williams on bass, Jaston George on rubboard, and Keith Sonnier on drums. Nathan’s uplifting, roots-inspired music is served up with a distinctive Caribbean lilt that reaches back to the very beginnings of Louisiana Creole culture.
