The First State Brass
The First State Brass is Delaware's premier professional brass ensemble. The members have performed from Germany to Japan and in America’s great concert halls. Trained at some of the world's finest music schools (The Juilliard School, The Manhattan School of Music, Indiana University, and Yale University), members have performed with ensembles as diverse as the United States Navy Band, the Delaware Symphony Orchestra, Rekkenze Brass, the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, and The Supremes.
From classical and sacred music to jazz and Broadway to German polkas, the First State Brass is at home in a wide variety of styles, with a repertoire that spans over five centuries .
