Description: Step into the world of drypoint printmaking, a timeless technique mastered by some of the greatest artists in history, including Albrecht Dürer, Francisco Goya, Edward Hopper, Käthe Kollwitz, and Pablo Picasso. In this immersive one-day workshop, you'll learn the essentials of this intricate process and leave with your very own limited edition of fine art prints.
What You’ll Learn:
Master the Tools: Get hands-on experience with the fundamental tools of drypoint printmaking, understanding how to create and prepare your own intaglio plate.
Inking & Printing: Learn the traditional process of inking and printing an intaglio plate, using an etching press to bring your design to life.
Create Your Edition: By the end of the workshop, you'll have produced a signed and original edition of three intaglio prints, each one a testament to your newly acquired skills.
Whether you’re looking to diversify your artistic practice or simply try something new, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to explore a historic art form and create work that you’ll be proud to display.
