Description: Discover the world of mixed media art and try something new! Over the course of four weeks, you will explore three different artistic mediums and learn the techniques needed to create stunning works of art.



Week 1: Acrylic or Watercolor Painting

Begin your artistic journey by exploring acrylic or watercolor painting. You'll learn fundamental techniques such as color mixing, brushwork, and layering to create dynamic and expressive artworks.

Week 2: Colored Pencils

In the second week, you'll master techniques such as layering, pressure control, cross-hatching, and dotting to create detailed and vibrant illustrations.

Week 3: Oil Pastels

Learn blending techniques, texturing, and color mixing to create soft, luscious works of art with depth and dimension.

Week 4: Mixed Media Masterpiece

In the final week, bring all your skills together to create a unique mixed media piece. Combine acrylic/watercolor, colored pencils, and oil pastels to design your own masterpiece!

Throughout the course, students will receive personalized guidance and support as you experiment. By the end of the workshop, students will have four completed projects to take home and display, each showcasing your growth and creativity as an artist.
