Black History Month Concert: HER
Join us for a choral celebration of "Mothers, Daughters, Sisters, Friends," where we uplift and celebrate the indelible impact of Black women through the beauty of their music. The Choir School of Delaware intergenerational choir will perform music solely composed and arranged by Black Women including Margaret Bonds, Florence Price, B. E. Boykin, Undine Smith Moore, Alysia Lee, and more. We are in an era of movements founded by Black women, such as #BlackLivesMatter, #MeToo, and #SayHerName, and the Choir School of Delaware aims to celebrate these traditions through storytelling and captivating choral music.
Presented by Choir School of Delaware.
