Coming of Ages: Group Art Exhibition
Step into the world of "Coming of Ages", art exhibition curated by the youngest up and coming Art Curator in Wilmington, 17-year-old Cab Calloway Student, Nia Rae! This group exhibit exclusively features four senior visual artists from the Baby Boomer era. We are proud to present Kristin Bainger, Joseph Barbaccia, Carmina Cianculli and Lee Pohlsander. Each artist brings a diverse style, ranging from traditional to new explorations methods, giving you a fresh perspective of how art is presented.
Beyond showcasing their individual talents, the exhibit aims to bridge the gap between generations of visual artists, encouraging younger generations to not only continue with their craft, but also gain knowledge and wisdom from senior artists, through their stories and journeys as not only an artist, but as a person. It’s time to give these senior visual artists their flowers, honoring their long dedication and contributions to the artistic community, inspiring the future generations to come. Join us for the opening reception from 5-8pm and enjoy music and refreshments.
