Ukrainian Holiday Pysanky Eggs
Susan Benarcik is back again with this amazingly popular holiday craft. Apply successive layers of wax and dyes to make beautiful hand-decorated eggs to take home. Fun fact: you will be using raw eggs, and no, they don't spoil! As long as the shell doesn't crack, the insides will dry out naturally and keep indefinitely. In fact, Susan has some beautiful eggs in her collection that family members made back in the 1960s. All patterns and materials are provided. Participants should expect to leave with 2 decorated eggs. If you are an advanced student and would like to bring an additional egg or two please do so. Ensure that you bring a container to safely transport your art home!
