Creative Quilling—A Journey in Paper Artistry (Creative Aging)
Join us on a creative journey and discover the beautiful art of paper quilling. Learn how to coil, shape, and arrange paper strips into eye-catching designs. You’ll learn to use these designs to make beautiful greeting cards, bookmarks, boxes, and more! Tailored to adults 55+ with or without quilling experience, these classes promise to be a fun and enriching experience. Our journey will culminate with an exhibition and artist reception, where friends and family are invited to see what you’ve accomplished.
This course is offered free of charge; all tools and materials are provided. Registration is required and limited to 12 students.
Please note: When you sign up for the first class on April 2, you’re registering for the entire course. The class will meet the same day & time each week on Wednesdays, April 2–May 14, from 1–3pm. Details on the exhibition and reception in the weeks that follow will be discussed in class.
This program is supported, in part, by a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts. The Division promotes Delaware arts events on DelawareScene.com.
