2025 MayFest in Odessa
The Corbit-Calloway Memorial Library, Delaware’s oldest free library, will host its 12th annual MayFest on Saturday, May 3.
The event, scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., will feature local crafters, vendors, food, games, inflatables, and children's activities. Highlights include live music, a petting zoo, train rides, costumed characters, and a large book sale sponsored by the Friends of the Corbit-Calloway Memorial Library. A raffle, offering more than 100 prizes, will also be available. Admission is free; tickets for special amusements will be sold separately.
MayFest annually attracts thousands of visitors and supports the library’s summer reading program, which helps prevent educational setbacks during school vacation and provides cultural and educational activities for local youth.
Free shuttle service to and from MayFest will be available from the Old State Elementary School campus at 580 Tony Marchio Drive, Townsend, DE 19734.
Presented by Corbit-Calloway Memorial Library.
